Abstract

Chapter 5 presents the findings of the outcome, process and cost/benefit evaluations of other US programs based on HOPE. The jurisdictions examined are Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Kentucky, Manitoba, Michigan, an unnamed ‘Midwestern state,’ Texas and Washington State. The chapter concludes with the recent findings of the four demonstration field experiment (DFE) sites, which implemented and evaluated the HOPE model in Arkansas, Oregon, Massachusetts and Texas.
