Resume

A tool is currently being built that will allow to compare different control solutions of future Net Energy Buildings (also called Smart Buildings). The first step of this work, which is presented here, is to build an optimization tool and to validate it on various scenarios mainly based on technical criteria, but also being able to evaluate environmental impacts for the different components in a preliminary manner. The long term objective is to decide at one point in time whether to consume electricity from the grid or to use local productions means, like PV panels or energy storage, based on technic, economic and environmental criteria.
