Abstract

During geoforensic investigations, a typical ethical code must obviously primarily deal with the behaviour of the geoscientist at the crime scene and in the courtroom in relation to the people and evidences with whom he comes in contact. When reasoning or a demonstrating an argument, one should strive for simplicity and conciseness. The professional forensic geoscientist (just like every expert) should be aware of this and should actively cooperate in obtaining the best possible resolution of the case.
