Management of Intrapartum Fetal Heart Rate Tracings
Management of non-reassuring fetal heart rate patterns requires an understanding of the pathophysiology that can lead to abnormalities. Although abnormalities suggest fetal distress, false-positives are common. When aberrations are detected, other means of assessing fetal status and nonsurgical interventions should be used when possible .
