Abstract
This chapter discusses the case of a catheter-dependent patient who was referred for a catheter exchange because of dysfunction. However, even after multiple attempts at repositioning the newly inserted repalcement catheter, adequate flow could not be obtained. In this case the problem was solved by placing the tip of the new catheter in the inferior vena cava.
