Abstract
This chapter discusses the case of a patient with type I diabetes since early childhood who presented with an infected groin hemodialysis (HD) catheter. She had multiple failed HD and peritoneal dialysis (PD) accesses and was not a transplant candidate due to a high panel reactive antibody (PRA).
