Abstract
The anatomy of the cerebral vasculature has been demonstrated in detail in Chaps. 3 (cerebral vascular anatomy) and 9 (vascular anatomy of the cerebellar and brainstem). Here we illustrate more frequently localized aneurysms as they appear radiologically and as they appear to a neurosurgeon with the patient positioned for surgery. Indications and goals of surgery are provided.
