Abstract
This chapter provides a general overview of the book and its rationale. The key aspects of intercultural knowledge sharing are contextualized in a wider framework that includes the main global challenges and addresses (not only) multinational corporations (MNCs). Moreover, this chapter aims to demonstrate that intercultural knowledge sharing is critical not only for the development of MNCs, but more generally, for economic growth, the rise of innovation and the combat of global problems. And finally, it advocates for a glocal, humanistic and inclusive approach to knowledge sharing.
