So Why Do Disruptive Students Say They Disrupt Classes?

Abstract

This chapter investigates data from over 100 students, exploring how ‘disruptive students’ themselves view challenging or difficult classes. Classes were identified as ‘disruptive’ by their institution, department or teacher and then I questioned these students as to why they behaved in a disruptive way in sessions.
