Abstract

A frequent key phrase often heard in undergraduate colleges is “high-impact learning.” Indeed, the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) issued a list of ten “high impact educational practices” (Kuh 2008) that would arguably boost student success, out of which two are of particular interest to this work: undergraduate research, and capstone courses and projects.
