Abstract

Pamela Gilles is an 18-year-old female who comes to the adolescent clinic for birth control advice and to have the medical form filled out for her college application. She is stressed out about all the application details and the decisions she has to make for her future as she leaves high school. She has a core group of close girl friends and has been dating someone for the past couple of months. Pamela weighs 67 kg (140 pounds), stands 168 cm, (66 in.), and is on the 75th percentile. Her BMI is 23.7, on the 75th percentile. Her blood pressure is 113/67. Her tanner stage is: 5.
