Abstract
Tito comes to the pediatric clinic with Mrs. Munoz while Mr. Munoz is at work. He weighs 20.40 kg (45 lb), which is in the third percentile, and is 118.1 cm (46.5 in.) tall, putting him in the fifth percentile for height. His tanner stage is 2. His blood pressure is 94/56 and his BMI is 14.6, or third percentile. He is a good boy, doing his work and listening to the teachers in the parochial school in their community but he is lately making excuses to stay home from school, such as having a stomachache. Mrs. Munoz is concerned that there is something wrong with Tito. His mother usually walks him to school. Tito does very well in school, but recently he has started not completing his homework and doing poorly on tests, according to the teacher at open school night. He has one good friend but does not have a group that he is connected with.
