Abstract
In an organization’s daily life, information should be taken as a fundamental resource. Dashboards are a visualization technique that is critical in information analytics and in decision support. On the other hand, indicators are essential for measure the performance of an organization. This paper main contribution is to define new indicators to Human Resources area, focusing on Medical and Nursing professionals, and indicator’s design to include in Business Intelligence solutions to report information to Human Resources in specific periods and in real-time. A selection of the indicators for the development of a dashboard can be translated into knowledge, if the construction of the dashboard and the appropriate use of the visual elements are implemented properly. This paper intends to define the most effective and efficient way to transmit information related to dashboards and indicators applied to a healthcare system.
