Abstract
The effect of self-efficacy on student achievement was examined in this meta-analysis study. A total of 943 research studies were collected during the literature review, out of which 231 were included in the meta-analysis. The 231 research studies were compiled to obtain a sample size of 242,023 subjects. The results of the random effect model showed that self-efficacy has a medium-level positive effect on student achievement. The moderators identified for the study were the years of the studies , type of publication , culture , school subject or assessment type and sample group and were found to be moderator variables .
