Abstract
Lily Chakraborty is a special educator and mother of Zico, a child with autism. This chapter draws on her experience as a mother and takes the reader into the world of those parents who experience the pains and joys of bringing up their child with autism. It provides a unique perspective on both autism in India and the UK from the viewpoint of a concerned parent.
