Abstract
Globalization has changed the way business is conducted around the world. Changes in the exchange of ideas, information and technology, and the political process have served in many cases to improve and expand the market systems in Ghana. As such, the potential opportunities for business investment in the region have blossomed. While several areas of Ghana demonstrate great opportunities, such possibilities have not uniformly occurred throughout the country. The Ghanaian regions embracing the challenges posed by the globalized economy are providing different business opportunities and different developmental models.
