Abstract
Zika virus (ZIKV), dengue virus (DENV), and chikungunya virus (CHIKV) share similar symptoms of infection; thus, laboratory diagnosis is an essential tool for disease confirmation, patient management, and public health prevention measures. Among flaviviruses, ZIKV and DENV are closely related, so serologic diagnosis of Zika is challenging, mainly in patients where Zika was the secondary flavivirus infection [1].
