Abstract

The concept of the subconscious—derived from the behavioral psychology and cognitive sciences—and the skills for intuition and for intuitive action are closely linked. The analogue observation in the sense of the “subconscious mind of organizations” is appropriate and is practically indicated with the arrival of the new technologies in the organizations. Metaphorically the infrastructures, as well as structure and processes of an organization—together with the values, attitudes and strategies of the organization—shape the subconscious mind of an organization which in turn influences decision making as the central skill of each organization. This subconscious mind is massively affected by what we call the digital transformation and hybrid intelligencies that emerge from the coexistence, new collaboration and the merging of man and machine—hopefully with humans staying in the driver’s seat.
