Abstract

In this chapter, I list the many ways that climate change will impact the planet, organizing the discussion in terms of the following: warming, effects on prevailing weather, precipitation, effects on ice sheets and glaciers, effects on oceans, land effects, health, vulnerable populations and developing countries, agriculture, and animals and birds.
