Abstract
This chapter introduces you to the theory and practical skills of levelling , a process of determining elevations (heights) or differences in elevations. It can be performed using either differential levelling using a level (discussed in this chapter) or trigonometric levelling using a Total Station (discussed in Chap. 6).
