Abstract
When pain due to pathological fractures is uncontrolled with conservative management, kyphoplasty may prove beneficial. Patients should be screened for potential contraindications. The chapter describes extrapedicular kyphoplasty that may be technically simpler and enable greater cement deposition than an intra-pedicular approach.
