Abstract

Comprehensive evaluation of intertrochanteric (Fig. 39.1), basicervical, and femoral neck (Fig. 39.2) fractures in the geriatric patient includes patient’s baseline ambulatory status, medical comorbidities, medical clearance, displaced or valgus impacted, and concomitant injuries.
