Abstract

Pediatric digital and metacarpal injuries require timely assessment of open vs. closed status, neurovascular compromise, intra-articular vs. extra-articular involvement, postreduction stability, associated injuries, displacement, physeal involvement, and nail bed involvement. “Fight bite” injuries and open fractures required escalation of management.
