Imaging of the Postoperative Skull Base and Cerebellopontine Angle

Abstract

This chapter reviews the diagnostic imaging findings related to the surgeries involving the skull base and cerebellopontine angle cistern regions, including anterior cranial (craniofacial) resection, decompression of cystic craniopharyngiomas, transsphenoidal tumor resection, transsphenoidal tumor resection, transsphenoidal tumor resection, surgical approaches for vestibular schwannoma resection, and radiosurgery for vestibular schwannomas.
