Abstract

This chapter aims to provide the readers with the findings regarding what effects the participants’ attendance to sohbets of the Gülen Movement had on their personal lives, on their immediate families, on their friends and relatives, and on their business life. With regard to changes on personal lives, more religiously oriented lifestyles, caring more about humanity, and improved social relations are most common effects, which also influence their families and relatives likewise. Considering the effects on business life, improved ways of doing business, exchanging information, and establishing partnerships, and Islamic way of doing business come to the forefront.
