Abstract
The “Space Race” developed after John F. Kennedy’s commitment to safely landing a man on the Moon and returning him by the end of the decade in the 1960s. The various rockets and capsules from the Space Race era and NASA open sites to the public give a unique insight into the history of the American Space Program, as well as the exciting current and future developments of space exploration.
