Abstract

Carapace hexagonal to longitudinally oval, dorsal surface slightly convex, smooth, polished, regions not defined; anterolateral margins entire, slightly diverging posteriorly, posterolateral margins sharply converging posteriorly; junction between lateral margins not distinct. Front straight, finely denticulate, markedly broad, broader than posterior margin of carapace. Antennules folded transversely. Antennae with basal antennal segment laterally produced, closing orbital hiatus. Orbits about half as broad as front; eyestalks long, slightly extending beyond exorbital tooth, not completely covered by orbit. Third maxillipeds with merus round, markedly smaller than ischium. Chelipeds markedly unequal. Walking legs relatively short, moderately flat. Abdomen of males and females with seven freely moving somites. G1 stout, nearly straight; G2 stout slightly curved, less than as half as length of G1. Genital opening of males coxal. Genital opening of females sternal.
