Abstract
In Adherence Technologies and Treatment Engagement authors Martin and Haro delve into a meaningful discussion of factors related failure to engage in treatment. Use and influence of social media platforms, SMS text, remote video conferencing, telehealth, online support groups, and behavior-tracking applications are presented. Finally, the authors deliver practical strategies for leveraging technology to better promote consumer engagement.
