Abstract

Gas-dynamic analysis of diesel exhaust gases filter-converter performance has been conducted. The design of the centrifugal-jet swirler that provides an increase in the area of distribution of the exhaust gases to the filter element has been suggested; its optimal geometric parameters in terms of the distribution of the exhaust gases have been determined.
