Abstract

This chapter focuses on the surgical management of DCIS (DIN1c-DIN3). Issues in DIN management include: the type of surgery performed in terms of indications for breast conservative surgery (with or without radiation therapy), indications for mastectomy with reconstruction, margin assessment, and axillary staging.
