Wireless communication between vehicles is a new era of communication that leads to intelligent transportation system. Internet of Things (IOT) is a new paradigm which is a combination of storing sensor data and computing the provided data to achieve useful information in the real world applications. The origin of IoT is Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) which is networked over the region to collect data, based on the concept of sensor data which is collected by RFID a user can derive important information after getting raw data from established network. In this paper we will discuss how Vehicles with sensors and actuators can absorb large amount of information from environment and provide this useful information to assist secure navigation pollution control and efficient traffic management we will also discuss various challenges architecture and cloud based implementation of Internet of vehicles
