Abstract
In this epilogue, Mrs Marianne Thyssen, European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labour Mobility reflects upon the labour market challenges Europe is facing. Faced with such challenges there is a need to adopt a holistic approach to employment and social policy. This is precisely what the European Commission intends to do with the European Pillar of Social Rights.
