Abstract

For vehicles, especially those running on the biofuel, the thermo-anemometric flowmeters are considered promising. The thermo-anemometric flowmeters, the design of which is based on dependence between the amount of heat expressed by the heating element located in the fluid flow and its mass consumption, are of particular interest. The thermo-anemometric flowmeter operating as a part of the hardware and software to measure the biofuel consumption by motor vehicles was developed, manufactured and customized. All its 13 channels were calibrated. The dependences of the “voltage-temperature” for sensitive elements of each channel were obtained.
