Abstract

Several countries, whether developed or developing, are more progressively seeking transformation into innovation and knowledge-based economy (iKBE). Engineering and technology play a core role in such a transformation; hence, outcomes of engineering education and attributes of engineering graduates are crucial factors to consider. Engineering graduates are expected to be well equipped with a set of twenty-first century skills which could enable them to the future practice of iKBE.
