Abstract
Tina and Norman’s tertiary education taught them about human consciousness, basic human needs, the evolution of planning on our planet and the distortion of people’s plan choices by fear, over-hyped experts and personal ideologies. They also became aware of both the shortcomings of questionnaire surveys and how poor planning can often be corrected using a simple goals-achievement matrix. In addition, they learned how simple regression analysis can clarify plan prediction by prompting innovative thinking, and they saw how elementary cartographic analysis can lead to conceptual breakthroughs regarding what the most preferred plan will be.
