Abstract
In the Conclusion, a summary of the findings and a few recommendations to the Ebola-affected countries – Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Guinea – to E-cluster their health sector in line with the IHR framework of the World Health Organisation is presented. This is strategically called for because if these countries are to better monitor the trends and pathways of disease eruption and spread, as well as increase their chances of success against future pandemics, their disease monitoring capabilities should be harmonised.
