Abstract

A system is proposed for assessing the condition of the natural environment in Ukraine. This is based on a study of the ecological indicators that are already in use in particular regions and in the country as a whole. Consideration of environmental performance indicators (EPIs) is used to assess the state of the natural environment in Eastern Europe, Caucasus, and Central Asia.
