Contextual Intelligence

Abstract

Written for leaders at all levels in public and private sectors, Contextual Intelligence identifies 12 behaviors that are needed to navigate unstable environments. Built around a unique 3D Thinking Framework™ of integrating hindsight, insight, and foresight this book outlines how to be prepared for and embrace uncertainty and volatility. The fact is, the world is experiencing an unprecedented pace of change and disruption requiring what Louis Pasteur, renowned microbiologist, called a “prepared mind.” Practicing contextual intelligence can help with such preparation. Being prepared to lead in today’s world means thinking differently about leadership. Contextual intelligence offers a fresh framework through which to practice leadership and navigate uncertain and even chaotic situations.
