Abstract

Hydrothermal method was employed for the synthesis of Cobalt ferrite (CoFe2O4) nanoparticles . The crystallinity, morphological and optical properties of the CoFe2O4 nanoparticles were studied by using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM ), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM ), FT-IR , and dielectric analyses. The grain size and crystal structure of the CoFe2O4 was confirmed by XRD. SEM and TEM analyses showed that the synthesized samples had particles of the size of nanometers. The CoFe2O4 nanoparticles dielectric properties were analyzed at different frequencies and temperatures such as the dielectric constant, the dielectric loss, and AC conductivity.
