Abstract

The concept of Reality is simultaneously objective and subjective. The idea of interaction between consciousness and social being is two-way influence. The objective reality actually determines individual existence. However, individuals and social groups create their own reality. In other words we cannot perceive the world “as is”, but we can perceive an image of the world, or its representation. The basis of the worldview is a myth. It serves for the social consolidation and sustainable development. Education as a complex system can serve to enhance the homogeneity of the society by communicating fundamental standards and values to form the national identity. That is why it is very important to integrate migrants into the education system, to transmit to them the basic social myths. In this respect education is a useful instrument for the state. Another effective instrument of formation and transmission of social myths and approved social behavior strategies is cinema. Film is a global (meta) text of the culture; it contains symbols and myths and constructs the collective memory. The Russian Soviet cinema represented the system of general ideas and myths of the Soviet society, which constructed the social and professional identity.
