Abstract
The right to work is a fundamental human right recognized in the UDHR (Article 23), in the ICESCR (Article 6), and in several regional human rights instruments, including the ACHPR (Article 15), the Additional Protocol to the American Convention on Human Rights in the Area of Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (Article 6), and the European Social Charter (Part II, Article 1).
