Abstract

Models and calculations of the particle scattering in the plasma using a classical model of the elastic collisions theory were considered in the chapter. We obtain the basic formula for determining the averaged effective cross sections of plasma particles. Including that the cross section of the charged particles, cross section of electron scattering on atoms, the interaction cross section type of molecule–molecule, atom–atom, and atom–ion.
