Abstract
Duodenal atresias or stenosis is a rare congenital malformation. In the past, repair was achieved through an open approach within the first days of life. With the advent of laparoscopic surgery, laparoscopic techniques have become a viable alternative to correct this congenital malformation. Minimally invasive techniques have been shown to be as effective and safe as the traditional open surgeries, providing obvious cosmetic benefits when compared to traditional abdominal incisions.
