Abstract
The expedition returned to a heroes’ welcome. Handcrafted signs greeted them at the main airlock, along with champagne (where did that come from?) and music. The main galley offered a cake. But as soon as the party broke up, and as soon as they had all checked on Dakota’s health—remarkably improved—Hadley made her way quietly to the storage warehouse. Sure enough, a mini rover bike slumbered there, beneath piles of detritus and old equipment. The little piece of history might have gone unnoticed, had she not been searching for it. With that confirmation, she embarked on a search for a guy with hypermop. She found him back in the galley, cleaning up after her team’s partying. The floor glistened with mop water, and the tables shone. No one else was there except someone in the food service area.
