Abstract

There is a rich history of the development of nursing education. Over time, changes in nursing education have addressed the complexities of the changing student population, the faculty requirements, and NCLEX-RN success. This chapter focuses on identifying the challenges of the past in an effort to inform and guide the future educational practices of the evolving healthcare area.
