Abstract
In this chapter a Peltier cell is used for cooling and freezing purposes. The main challenge from the control point of view is to guarantee the setpoint response performance for both tasks despite the process nonlinearities. For this purpose, reliability based optimization approach is stated and tackled with the multiobjective optimization design procedure.
