Abstract
In order for digital health offerings to be worthy of the investment, they must have an evidence base that demonstrates their contribution to improving health outcomes, their cost-effectiveness and have the ability to demonstrate improvements in quality of care. For telecommunications and digital service providers, this translates into requirements for scalability and performance and quality management. All these performance indicators are challenged by cost, quality, and availability of the delivered service.
