Abstract

Treatment selection by consumers and service providers is influenced by factors other than evidence-based outcome. It can be influence by inaccurate perceptions of a treatment model, resource availability for staff training and supervision, and overall cost. The panelists discuss these issues to more fully elucidate their models and the challenges that can be faced in implementation. Additionally, the critical role of parents is discussed and the interplay of precision and flexibility in treatment implementation.
