How Ireland Voted 2016

Abstract

In this chapter, candidates who represented five different parties on the campaign trail describe their own campaign experiences from selection to election, or defeat. They describe how they developed their strategies, their interactions with their national parties, their campaign workers and their impressions of the voters they encountered ‘on the doorsteps’.
