Abstract
This chapter analyzes the theoretical foundations underlying innovative development of national economy and gives the outline of the structure and the pattern of innovative development. In view of the cyclical nature of global economic processes requiring different mechanisms of innovation management that could be applied at different stages of economic development, the authors provide the insight into the interaction of cyclical economic processes, technological advances, and innovative activity. The authors uncover the nonlinear synergetic bond binding innovation and investment in order to further propose mathematically sound approaches to strategic management of synergetic innovation.
